The Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) contract is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle established by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to support the rapid acquisition of mission-critical capabilities across MDA and other Department of War (DOW) organizations. SHIELD provides a flexible enterprise contracting vehicle that enables federal customers to quickly compete and award orders across a broad range of technical, engineering, research, development, advisory, and mission support requirements.
